Often changing weather brings many problems for our skin, and especially the hair. When we want to see long and smooth hair, every day we bump into reality, where we experience an itchy scalp. Knowing an age-old solution to our problem, which is oil-massaging-pampering your hair, our busy lives do not allow us to do so. That is why today we have brought some other tricks for you which will help you in protecting your scalp from dryness and itching. Read carefully and apply yourself.

DO NOT OVERWEIGHT THE HAIR AT ALL

Excessive use of the shampoo can remove your hair from attractive moisture and also remove it from the dryer. Wash hair less often will help regain your hair shine. Include a mild, pH balanced, sulphate-free shampoo with hydrating conditioner in your hair care routine. Opening the scalp one hour before washing your head will also calm your scalp.

HOME CARE

By placing the container, heat the oil in a bowl of hot water and gently massage it on your scalp. Wrap a towel around your hair then leave it for half an hour before shampooing your hair. This will instantly make your hair shine and keep split ends at bay.

CHOOSE THE BEST SHAMPOO

Choose a Gentler and Hydrating Shampoo and make sure you rub your hair well. Sodium-containing shampoos can harden on the scalp and cause further dryness and itching. It is advised to read the contents of the shampoo carefully and see what suits you. Avoid using hot water while washing hair.

SAY NO TO OUTSIDE HEAT

Hot styling tools such as straightener, dryers and curling tongs should not be applied to the scalp at all. When using these devices, make sure that they are kept away from the skull. Excessive use of heat styling tools dissipates the moisture in your hair, and they become dry and brittle.

STRESS REFLECTS YOUR BODY

Taking care of your mental health is the first and foremost thing for a healthy life. Stress affects various aspects of our health and well-being. While stress does not directly cause an itchy scalp, it can exacerbate symptoms.

WATER INTAKE IS THE MAIN

Probiotics enhance the immune system, which helps the body fight fungal infections that contribute to dandruff or dry scalp. At least drink eight glasses of water to improve your scalp health and future hair growth.

Try and include iron-rich foods such as leafy vegetables, fish, pumpkin seeds, beans, chickpeas, soya beans and grains in your diet. Doctors suggest about 12 mg of iron that you consume daily. You also need protein because it makes your hair strong. Include whole proteins that are also rich in amino acids: such as cheese, milk, soya, lentils, peas, quinoa, and yogurt. It is very normal that 100 to 150 strands of hair loses a day, so do not panic when you see a small bunch crawling on your tiled floor. With extreme care, mix wet hair as they are delicate and are at risk of breakage. Take a wide-toothed comb then gently run it from the roots to the ends of your hair.
